Benchmark Tests

The following benchmarks evaluate the batch processor across all three signal types (Logs, Metrics, Traces) with both OTAP and OTLP protocols. Baseline scenarios without the batch processor are included for comparison.

Batch Processor Scenarios

• *-OTAP-BATCH-OTAP -- OTAP protocol pipeline with the batch processor enabled.
• *-OTLP-BATCH-OTLP -- OTLP protocol pipeline with the batch processor enabled.

Baseline Scenarios (No Batch Processor)

• *-OTAP-OTAP -- OTAP protocol baseline without the batch processor.
• *-OTLP-OTLP -- OTLP protocol baseline without the batch processor.

Each scenario is run for Logs, Metrics, and Traces signal types (e.g., Logs-OTAP-BATCH-OTAP, Metrics-OTAP-BATCH-OTAP, Traces-OTAP-BATCH-OTAP).
